    Before anything is drawn I talk the problem through with Claude — who it is for, where it breaks, what a PM will ask in review. It is the fastest way I know to find the holes in my own thinking.

  2. 02ExploreFigma + Claude

    Ten directions instead of two. I generate the range quickly and throw most of it away; the point is to have seen the alternatives before committing to one.

  3. 03SystemiseFigma

    Tokens, components, states and the copy that fills them. The repetitive half of a design system is handed off, so the hours go to the decisions that actually need judgement.

  4. 04ShipClaude Code

    I prototype in real code with Claude Code, so engineering gets something running to react to rather than a spec to interpret. This site is one of those prototypes.
